Ales Pres Link Motion series presses are precision presses applicable to large, heavy tonnage die tooling with multiple precision stages in deep drawing, blanking, piercing, bending, forming for single or progressive stamping. Ales Pres incorporates Link Motion drive technology to reduce ram speed during forming stroke while increasing speed on upstroke to improve productivity. Ales Pres series stamping presses are monoblock or tie rod constructed for minimal deflection, accurate parts and machine durability. Depending on projects, for sizes up to 800 tons, either a pneumatic clutch and brake or a pneumatically actuated wet-type clutch and brake is used that offering efficient, high torque, fast acting, low power consumption and environmentally friendly performance. For sizes 800 tons and above, hydraulically actuated clutch and brake is used that offers the same benefits as above, plus low inertia, soft engagement and recirculating hydraulic oil cooling for durability. Ales Pres branded Fast Response Hydraulic overload system protects your parts, die, and presses in case of an overload. Optional bolster plate, Quick Die Change systems, Servo Automation, and full turnkey systems are available. Furthermore, Ales Pres also designs and manufactures custom Servo Presses that offer enhanced slide and stroke control along with reduced die and tool wear and low energy consumption for stamping applications in auto parts, consumable electrics and household appliances as well.
