Ingredients (makes one 8×8 inch / 20×20 cm pan) Brownie layer • 3.5 oz dark chocolate (100 g) • 7 tbsp unsalted butter (100 g) • ½ cup granulated sugar (100 g) • 2 large eggs • ½ cup all-purpose flour (70 g) • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (15 g) • Pinch of salt Cheesecake layer • 1 cup cream cheese (250 g), room temperature • ¼ cup granulated sugar (60 g) • 1 large egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract 👩🍳 Instructions 1. Preheat the oven • To 340°F (170°C). • Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper. 2. Make the brownie batter • Melt butter and dark chocolate together (in a microwave or double boiler). Let cool slightly. • Whisk in sugar until glossy. • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. • Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix just until smooth. • Pour about ¾ of the batter into the pan — save the rest for the top. 3. Make the cheesecake layer • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. • Pour over the brownie base and spread evenly. 4. Add the swirl • To the remaining brownie batter, add 1–2 tsp hot water and mix until slightly thinner. • Spoon dollops on top of the cheesecake layer and use a skewer or knife to create gentle swirls. 5.
