✨ THERMAL JELLY MARBLING | JADE STONE NAIL ART TUTORIAL ✨ In this tutorial, I’m walking you through one of my signature nail techniques — Thermal Jelly Marbling. This method creates a fluid, dimensional marble effect that shifts with temperature, giving the nail a living, stone-like depth that feels both organic and luxurious. . For this set, I’m working in a classic deep jade green palette, inspired by traditional jade stone, and finishing the design with delicate gold veining to elevate the marble and add contrast. The result is a rich, high-end look that mimics natural stone while still feeling soft and wearable. In this video, you’ll see: Every material and product I use to achieve this effect . How I layer and manipulate thermal jelly gel while it’s still uncured . My technique for creating natural movement and depth within the marble . How and when I place gold veining so it enhances the design instead of overpowering it . This technique relies heavily on timing, gel consistency, and controlled movement, so watching the process in real time will help you understand how to work with the gel rather than against it. Thermal Jelly Marbling is all about letting the material do the work while you guide it into place. 💎 READY TO LEVEL UP YOUR NAIL GAME? I do this because I clean the brush frequently with a small amount of acetone between veins to keep the lines crisp and organic while working with live, uncured gel. This method is faster and more efficient for my workflow and allows me to reset the brush instantly without disrupting the marbling process. Because acetone is harsh, I intentionally use an inexpensive brush that I can replace for under $1 whenever needed — which, in practice, isn’t very often. ⚠️ I do not recommend using this method with high-quality brushes. Acetone will break down brush fibers over time and shorten their lifespan. If you prefer to use a quality brush, opt for a high-percentage alcohol instead to preserve the integrity of your tools. This is simply my preferred working method, not a requirement — always choose what best fits your tools, budget, and process. Remember to wear PPE and protect your skin at all stages of the process.
