North swing shift deputies were dispatched to a larceny in progress at the Tractor Supply located at 8100 2nd St NW. Upon arrival, 34-year-old Sean Monroe and 29-year-old were detained. Monroe and Kitzinger were both subsequently booked on charges of Possession of Burglary Tools, Conspiracy, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Shoplifting. Although this is not considered a violent crime, our deputies take these charges and situations very seriously. Tractor Supply (specifically in this location) is a target for frequent theft and crime. It is important to our Office to clean up the streets of Albuquerque regardless of the type of crime that occurs. Businesses and the community as a whole deserve to know they can count on their Sheriff's Office to assist them when they need us.
