Please don't ask me where the footages are from. Just read the DB. All is written! This is the story of Haymitch and Maysilee in the Hunger games (the story from the book + some imagination) from their childhood in district 12 to the second quarter quell and then Haymitch as an adult remembering Maysilee when he sees her pin on Katniss. If you haven't read the books (and you wanna know more about Maysilee and Haymitch to undestand the video): in the book Katniss didn't get the mocking jay pin from the market. Her friend Madge gave it to her after the reaping. The pin used to belong to Madge's aunt, Maysilee who participated in the Hunger games the year Haymitch won. We learn in the book that they made an alliance in the games but Maysilee broke it at some point because they were not much participants left and she didn't want to have to fight with Haymitch for victory. So they split and a short time after Maysilee was attacked by birds and Haymitch arrived too late to save her and had to watch her die. The part when they are kids in district 12 come out of my immagination. Nothing in the book let us think that they knew each other before the reaping.
