On July 20, 2024, Gerji witnessed a momentous event—the Grand Opening of the Gate of Harar. This vibrant celebration was a collaborative effort between the Abyssinia Art School and Arada. During the Grand Opening of the Gate of Harar renowned and aspiring artists unite. Incredibly talented aspiring musicians graced the stage with their performance. An aspiring poet with their magic pen also took the stage. their eloquent words painted vivid pictures of events. The aroma of traditional Ethiopian coffee mingled with the vibrant colors of local artwork.
