***edit: after making this video and learning more about how IR’s work, if your acoustic has a mic, it’s is usually better to turn it off when using IR’s. With it on, you are essentially putting a microphone signal into another microphone if that makes sense. The IR is doing what the internal mic is already doing. So the normal piezo or sound hole pickup usually works better unless the IR is designed to be used with your pickup configuration. For example, 3SigmaAudio have ones to work with the Taylor Es2 systems specifically. Since it is 2021, getting good acoustic guitar tones live shouldn't be too much of an issue by now. A common misconception with the Line6 Helix I think a lot of people have is that it works for more than just electric guitars!
