Day 3 of testimony in the Kim Potter trial for the shooting death of Daunte Wright will include the showing of autopsy photos. While those photos will be shown in the courtroom, Judge Regina Chu has blocked those photos from being shown on the livestream. Opening statements began Wednesday in the trial of Kim Potter, the former Brooklyn Center police officer charged with manslaughter for shooting and killing 20-year-old Daunte Wright, a Black man, during a traffic stop earlier this year. Thursday, Daunte Wright's girlfriend Alayna Albrecht-Payton, who was in the car with him during the fatal police stop, took the stand.
