TGfU SIG "The Joy of Play: Motivating Learners through Play-Based Pedagogies" Webinar

After the success of the 40th Anniversary webinar series in 2022, the TGfU SIG has re-launched a new series of professional development webinars. The intention of the webinars is to discuss key models, topics and concepts within the game-based approaches (GBA) field. We will hear from students, teachers, coaches and academics from around the world exploring their research and practice. Speaker: Aspasia Dania (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) Content: The webinar explores how play serves as a powerful context for affective connection, creativity and engagement in physical education. Participants will examine strategies to design playful learning environments that nurture joy, autonomy, and belonging.
