Watch this hotshot intermodal train round a big curve with an insane consist you will likely never see again around Sudbury, as it passes some parked freight cars! I was first surprised to get word that an 8500 series CP AC44CW was leading this priority intermodal train instead of the very usual CPKC Tier 4 GEVO's, then surprised to see two 8600 series CP AC44CWs as the trailer and the mid DPU! The rear DPU was probably the biggest surprise, as it was CP 8757, the "Every Child Matters" tribute unit with its shiny orange paint! Three old & endangered CP AC44CWs (with the oldest one leading) and a special CP GEVO instead of four new CPKC paint ET44AC's! It's not often a CPKC train surprises me multiple times. I'll likely never see a consist like this ever again, as it's almost impossible to see such thing on the Cartier sub where it's filled with hotshot intermodals with Tier 4s. Train ID: CPKC 118-1x (Edmonton, AB - Montreal, QC priority intermodal) Location: Allan St., Romford, ON Subdivision: CPKC Cartier Recorded Date: December 20th, 2025 CP 8544 - AC4400CW - CP System Red w/ Old Beaver CP 8623 - AC4400CW - CP System Red w/ Old Beaver DPU CP 8603 - AC4400CW - CP System Red w/ Old Beaver DPU CP 8757 - ES44AC - Every Child Matters F/R/F/F
