Select your preferred date and proceed to book your slot This video is about a short trek called Makalidurga Trek. It is located in the state of Karnataka, India. The base of the trek initiates at a distance of few meters from Makalidurga Railway Station. This place is listed under Karnataka Eco-tourism and, hence one has to pay approx. Rs. 300 to obtain permission to complete this trek. Makalidurga is a ruined fort which was established in the 16th century.. One needs to climb rocks and boulders to reach the ruins. It is an adventure trek, and one can enjoy its entire trail. Trekking on the Makalidurga Trail in monsoon makes the trek more thrilling yet risky. However, trekking in summers will be easy but tiring. Once you reach the top, you can witness a beautiful view of the landscapes. Also couple of lakes can be seen after reaching the top.
