The original plan was to fish the beach at Kilnsea, but the big waves had other ideas. After a quick stop at Paull on the Humber where an awful smell drove us away. I ended up at a brand-new mark called The Woods on the Humber Estuary. Will this new spot deliver, or will I start the year with a blank? With codling in my sights, the session unfolds as I test my luck at this unfamiliar mark. Only time will tell if this adventure starts 2025 on the right note!
