As SpongeBob and Squidward are about to walk home (although SpongeBob is noticeably getting exasperated at Squidward's continuous bragging), the latter spots a real crane and, despite SpongeBob's objections, goes to operate it, thinking he can manage it successfully with the trick. However, SpongeBob's statement proves to be true when the trick fails to apply to the actual crane itself, resulting in Squidward accidentally destroying a construction site (which was a new mall) and the Krusty Krab.
