After spending almost a week in Worcester, pretty much bed-bound, thanks to the flu. We head onto the River Severn, as the levels are dropping and the Rivers gone on Yellow, so its safe to proceed, but not down to Glouster, as that section takes a lot longer to go on yellow, so to yet again kill more time, we decided to head up to Hawford and get onto the Droitwich Barge canal to do a ring, but at this point the River was still on winter hours, which meant it was closed Monday and Tuesday, so we booked to go through the lock Wednesday, but Tuesday we had a LOT of rain overnight and when we woke up we couldn't belive how much the River had risen by, we had to get the hell off the river right away, neadless to say, the river was on Red boards and we could no long proceed to Hawford...
