Stolen Charger Meets Mighty Arkansas State Police After "GRAPPLER" Escape!

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS On 05/24/2025 at approximately 2008 hours, I was traveling north on Hwy 161, approaching the intersection of Fairfax Drive. While approaching the intersection, I observed a Dodge Charger traveling west, approaching the intersection from McCain Park Place. I observed the vehicle continue through the stop sign and across Hwy 161 without slowing down. I observed the vehicle continue west on Fairfax Drive. Around the area of E McCain and Forrester I was able to catch up with the vehicle. When running the AR LPN I observed the vehicle returned stolen. I advised dispatch at that time that I was traveling west on E McCain approaching Richards Road, possibly behind a stolen vehicle. I advised all units enroute to my location that I had not activated my lights and sirens due to waiting for additional officers. While waiting on additional units, dispatch verified the vehicle was confirmed stolen. I observed the vehicle turn into Popeyes (4415 E McCain), coming to a stop in the drive thru. I observed other officers arrive to my location. At that time, I activated my emergency equipment and began stepping out of my unit. After stepping out of my unit I observed the vehicle begin to move forward, slowly exiting out of the drive thru and out of the parking lot. I observed the vehicle turn left into the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn. I observed the vehicle drive through the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn making a complete circle around the building and exiting back onto E McCain.  Officer Hooper took primary in the pursuit due to having the Grappler. I observed the vehicle continue west on E McCain and then north on to Smokey Lane. Officer Hooper attempted to use the Grappler. (See Officer Hooper's Supplement) I observed the vehicle turn north on Landers. The vehicle continued on Landers until turning west underneath the underpass in the 6100 block of Landers Rd. The vehicle then merged on to Warden Rd continuing south. Officer Hooper advised he was unsuccessful with the Grappler due to the vehicle brake checking him and to go ahead and get ASP to respond. During this pursuit, this vehicle attempted to brake check officers multiple times to prevent capture. I observed the vehicle then get onto I-57 southbound, reaching over 100 mph. I observed the vehicle merge west on to I-40 and then continue on I-30 westbound. In the area of I-30 and exit #140 ASP responded. ASP completed a successful TVI causing the vehicle to come to a stop. I observed a white female exit the driver side door and lay face down on the ground. No other occupants were located in the vehicle. The female was identified as Amanda Standrigde. Standridge was the primary suspect for the initial stolen vehicle report that was made on today's date. (2025-49868) Standridge was transported by MEMS to Springhill Baptist Medical Center to be treated. Standridge was later transported to PCRDF without further incident. MVR 1715 was on and functioning at the time of this incident. Operator Scales removed the vehicle from ACIC/NCIC on 05/24/2025 at 2147 hours.
