Deliverance from the Arameans (2 Kings 6:8–23) King Aram repeatedly tried to ambush Israel, but Elisha—guided by God—warned the king of Israel every time. Frustrated, the Aramean king sent a vast army to capture Elisha at Dothan. When Elisha’s servant saw the city surrounded, he panicked: “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” Elisha reassured him: “Don’t be afraid. Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, and the servant’s eyes were opened. He saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha. As the army advanced, Elisha prayed again—and the Lord struck them with blindness. Elisha then led the enemy soldiers straight into Samaria. Instead of killing them, the king of Israel (at Elisha’s instruction) set food and drink before them and released them. From that day, Aramean raiding parties stopped attacking Israel. ✨ Reflect This season teaches us: Spiritual vision is greater than physical fear. What looks overwhelming to us is nothing compared to God’s protection. Mercy can be more powerful than vengeance. Feeding enemies turned them into peacekeepers. Prayer changes perspectives. Elisha’s servant only found courage when God opened his eyes. In our struggles, we must remember: the unseen armies of heaven stand with us. 🙏 Pray Heavenly Father, open my eyes to see Your power at work in my life. Help me trust that You surround me with protection even when circumstances feel impossible. Teach me to respond to my enemies with mercy, just as You have shown me mercy. Let my life reflect Your peace and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #HellIsReal #GospelTruth #RepentAndBelieve #1Cor15 #JesusSaves #EternalLifeInChrist #GraceNotWorks #KJVTruth #SavedByGrace #NoSecondChances #TurnToJesus #lessonsbylifechallenge #BibleVerseSharingChallenge #lessonsbylifechallenge #MoralStorytime #Christian #ScriptureEncouragement #love #God #hope #inspirational #motivation #bibletruth #motivation #inspiration
