Wondering if you should go organic? Wondering if you can go organic? Mistakes will happen if you use big fancy synthetic fertilizers, or if you use what farmers and common citizens have been using for thousands of years. Hopefully on this show you will get encouraged to grow your own poppies indoors using a grow tent like I’m doing. Keep in mind, having a top of the line LED light is key unless you have access to 18 hours of cloud free direct sun every day. Poppies, Papaver Somniferum in particular, desire a great amount of sunshine and also some fertilizer as well. With proper light cycles, growing medium, nutrients nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). I have a light cycle of: 18/6 (vegging cannabis with flowering poppies) 12/12 (vegging poppies with flowering cannabis) Galania’s favored purchased from Latem Exports in Florida. " 9-12 hour photoperiod may not initiate flowers within 120 days after emergence, while those grown in a 16-hour photoperiod flower in 32 days after emergence." --- Poppies aren't solely dependent on the light cycle change like cannabis although the light cycle does play a role. gear: 2 gorilla grow tents 4x4x6,11" 2 Raging Kush 2.0 LED industrial grow lights (used, FB marketplace) 3 AC infinity humidifiers with auto VPD 40 2 gallon cloth pots (24-25 per tent max) 1 Under the sink RO filter 1 18"x2 bulb UV light sanitizer lamp 4 carbon filters (iPower, AC Infinity) 2 Ac infinity 10 speed (fan speed and swivel speed) oscillating fans (AWESOME) 2 Vivosun fans (total shite) 2 normal house oscillating fans 2 box fans 1 ipower 10 speed 6" inline 1 ac infinity 10 speed 6" inline 1 6" ipower inline fan (loud/old style in wait for scrubbing air if needed. 1 Ac infinity 69 controller 4 AC Infinity self watering stands. 1 insignia dehumidifier 1 large 4’6”x2’ heat mat 2 smaller heat mats 4 old repurposed restaurant shelves 75' duct work A ton of duct tape 1 Laser thermometer 1 EC/PPM tester 1 PH test strips (paper strips, not as accurate as digital but reliable) 6 hygrometers 7 five gallon buckets 2 air pumps (4 air stones) 1 compost tea micron bag For fertilizer my plants are geting BoogieBrew (dot net). -BOOGIE BLACK INSECT FRASS -Pure protein powder (BB) -Pure amino acid powder (BB) -Potash crystal things (BB}) -Boogie Brix (like a super charged maple syrup) (BB) -boogie brew bio char LANGBEINITE, bat guano, rock phosphate, humic acids, azomite, insect frass and Dolomite lime Also roots organics: Cal-Mag (liquid and powder) & their seabird guano.
