During our Tamil Nadu trip exploring Thenkasi and Tirunelveli, we visited the iconic Nellaiappar Temple and stepped straight into the legendary Iruttu Kadai shop just outside the temple. We also tasted Santhi Sweets halwa to compare the richness, texture, and flavor. Is Iruttu Kadai really superior? Is it worth the extra ₹100? After the halwa tasting, we walked to Kasi Vilas Non-Veg Hotel, widely recommended as the best biryani restaurant in Tirunelveli.
