The Filipino Air Force will now receive 20 F-16 Block 70/72 jets which will come equipped with long range air-to-air missiles and precision guided bombs. Meanwhile, Manila says that it will order an additional 20 F-26 fighter jets once the first batch is delivered. This comes amid China’s aggressive behaviour in the region. The Chinese military just concluded a two-drill surrounding Taiwan.
