Step outside. In the world of cardistry we've far too often taken to the comforts of our homes as shooting locations, and for good reason. The comfort and predictable conditions of our own homes allows us to create and perform difficult moves with relative ease. We can play music the way we want to, light our videos the way we want to, or even condition the decks the way we want to. The ease in which difficult moves can be performed with little to no element of unpredictability or risk is addictive. That's why I have chosen to force myself out of that safe zone. Shot in public with a film crew of six other amazing cardists, the choreography for this video is probably as amazing behind the camera as it is on camera.
