In the afternoon, we searched everywhere—the corners of the cage, inside the nest, around the rooftop—but still, the egg was nowhere to be found. After this incident, we decided to build a new cage for Mithu—one that’s safer and more comfortable, where she can live peacefully and lay her eggs in a secure space.
