MedusaMoon (Neurodiverse) Thank you for taking the time to listen to my music. These are my unplugged versions, which were not produced or recorded in a studio. I have completed 2 albums that will be released this year: On the 09/10/25 “songs from the attic” will be released, on the 23/11/25 “breaking hearts and wrecking homes. Why put up unplugged sets if I have albums coming out? Well, I am a musician, but not a performer, and I don't perform live. This is as close as I come! I am Neurodiverse, and I have dyslexia and dyspraxia. Dyspraxia is the annoying one as it means I have limited guitar skills, as my motor skills are weak. I have, however, found a way to play that can at least support my vocals. All these songs have been written by me, both the music and the words, and I have a total of 63 songs to date. I wrote them all within 6 months, and it was blood, sweat and tears. But here I want to write and sing, as singing is my medication. Did you know that singing releases Oxytocin (the love hormone) and dopamine (the feel-good hormone)? By design, we are incredible human beings. I am autistic, too, which means that standing in front of a crowd is more frightening than anything frightening. So playing live is a no, and all I can do is express myself the best I know how – singing! My music is dark and melancholic. I write about the reality of existence. I write about the pain, hurt, sorrow and heartache of love and life. Some songs that have been written are drawn from my personal experiences, and others are written about something or someone who has affected me in some way. I started writing poetry from a young age as a form of self-expression, as I could never find the words to express myself unless they were written down. Suddenly, writing poetry became my solace and also a form of escapism into a world that made sense, as the world I was living in did not make any sense. Music was my friend when others were not able to be, and it was the thing that helped me through the most challenging years of my life. My influences range from Beethoven to Slayer and some of the greatest folk singers and musicians. My other influences are Tori Amos, Lana Rey, Leonardo Cohen, Bob Dylan and Damien Rice, to name a few. Thank you to my family, friends and everyone who has supported me! All music ©2025
