In this video, I’m in Palma de Mallorca, staying at Tent Playa de Palma — part of the Tent Hotels group dotted around Spain/Balearics. The vibe is very much “camping meets hotel,” which works well if you don’t expect big luxury. The room was pretty basic: clean and functional, though nothing fancy. No minibar, and no coffee machine in the room — small annoyances for the price. But they make up for it a bit with their brunch by the pools (until midday/mid-afternoon) — that’s one of the highlights. There are three outdoor pools and sun loungers — good for relaxing. The hotel is a bit out of the way from central Palma, but it’s within walking distance of Playa de Palma beach (about 6-10 mins), and close enough to amenities, restaurants, shops. Probably better if you’re okay splitting time between chilling at the hotel and exploring via public transport. Bathroom was nice. Staff generally friendly. If you want a budget beach hotel with a social, relaxed feel and good brunches, this is solid. If you want luxury or in-town Palma right on top of everything, there are better options.
