The Lord of the Rings 20th Anniversary Ultimate Medley for Piano -    • The Lord of the Rings 20th Anniversary Ult...   In the movies this is the first sample of music that you hear as you are about to embark on the epic known as Lord of the Rings. Howard Shore did a masterful job of composing captivating melodies accompanied by rich luscious harmonies, and in the first few minutes of the movie you hear several of this motifs such as the "History of the Ring" and "Gollum's Theme". It is actually very difficult to translate Shore's orchestral works to piano believe or not, but I try my best. A lot of the soundtrack isn't too flashy on piano with the ebb and flow of the orchestra and choirs chanting on top of it. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm planning on going through the entire soundtrack, but as aforementioned, not all the music translates very well so I'm going to be at least a bit selective on what I arrange. Some of those elf chants do not sound very good on piano 😂 To those who care more about Zelda or my other video game covers, don't worry this will just be a side project for now.
