This is the Lake Road level crossing in Stawell, Victoria, with footage I took on the 28th of March 2021. This crossing is located on the Western Standard Gauge line. This crossing is a flashing light setup and has a total of four signals, which are located on the north eastern, north western, northern and south western sides of the crossing. The signal on the south western is located at the intersection of Wilson Street and Lake Road, to prevent traffic from turning right onto Lake Road when the crossing is activating. There is one track going through this crossing which you can guess what gauge it is, because of what the line it’s named. This crossing is maintained by the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) The crossing equipment consists of: A newer model Safetran Systems Corporation Type 3 electronic bell on the north eastern signal. A mixture of Westinghouse and newer style McKenzie And Holland crossarms A mixture of marked and unmarked older style Westinghouse LED lights. McKenzie And Holland 4 inch clamp style bases on all signals, except for the northern signal facing Wilson Street, which has an unmarked base. Rail crossing warning signs, with hazard triangles mounted above. The hazard triangle on the eastern side is mounted upside down. Rail markings painted on the road Crossing history: Here’s the crossing in February 2010 when it had a McKenzie And Holland or Westinghouse teardrop bell: https://earth.app.goo.gl/S3AstB
