Lyn Stanley Announces Her Big Band Holiday Album, Novel Noel, a 13-Song Full Album Release.

Here is the back story to how Lyn Stanley and her Big Band Jazz Mavericks created a STUDIO album in the midst of the worldwide pandemic in 2020-2021. Global Music Awards in August 2022 awarded this album THREE Gold Medals--Producer, Album and Female Vocalist. The pandemic changed the landscape of music creation during this period as world class studios exercised great caution to protect all. Suddenly home studios and individual recordings emerged as the new way to create. But, nothing can replace the magic when a big band gathers together to create music and interact live as a team. Lyn gives the viewer of this video an opportunity to see her Big Band Jazz Mavericks in action to create what critics are now calling, "Exceptional.." and "The best Holiday album released in 2022." This video highlights drummer, Bernie Dresel, and his performance on a new Jazz Version of Little Drummer Boy with an arrangement conceived by Lyn Stanley and realized by arranger Tom Kubis. The album was recorded by Allen Sides and Bill Schnee, and mixed by Allen Sides and Leslie Jones, with mastering by Bernie Grundman.
