As a part of our ongoing “Ethically Speaking” series, this session will support faculty, students and staff who must demonstrate continuing education in the ethical conduct of research with human subjects. According to the NIH: The responsible conduct of research (RCR) is essential to good science. RCR promotes the aims of scientific inquiry, fosters a research environment that enables scientists to work together toward common goals and promotes public confidence in scientific knowledge and progress for the public good. However, there are several serious detrimental effects of research not conducted ethically and responsibly. This RCR training is provided to our student, postdoctoral research fellow, research faculty and staff to ensure we are in continual conversation to develop and maintain a culture of scientific integrity.
