Cross Country 43184 Intercity 125 Executive Livery first visit to Cornwall 2023

It's been a while since 43384 also known as 43184 last came to Cornwall. But on the 9th May 2023 owning to flooding and disruption between Cheltenham Spa and Worcester. This set was operating 1S51 from Plymouth to Edinburgh where the service terminated at Bristol Temple Meads and due to the disruption, it needed to head back to Laira, so the set which featured 43184 & 43239 was working 1Z58 16:48 from Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance to then operate 22:08 service from Penzance to Plymouth. Normally this would have been a Voyager, but with the timetabling and disruption, I sure was not going to complain about it. As since it was overhauled at Laira, 43184 has not made a visit to Cornwall until today. So I thought I go to film and photograph this iconic livery which is wearing Intercity 125, the powercar was named Laira Diesel Depot from where it has spent most of it work from the North to Plymouth and far Southwest. This might be the only opportunity to get a photo as the fleet will be steeping down from service on the 15th October. So this video features the set visit Redruth, Camborne & Penzance along with the Night Riviera operated with 57603 Camborne and then after came 43184 to make its journey back to Plymouth with amazing traction from MTU power.
