WHAT IF… Michael Bolton had stayed in the AOR world of the early 1980s? This is a fan-made AI tribute experiment imagining what a brand new AOR song might sound like if inspired by the powerful rock voice Michael Bolton had in the early 1980s – an era many AOR fans still love today. ⚠️ Important: This recording is NOT Michael Bolton, not affiliated with him, and not an official release. It is an AI-generated fan tribute, created purely as a musical experiment and homage to that classic AOR era. 00:00:00 - Telephone Line 00:03:09 - New York City Night 00:06:19 - One Night On The Radio Of course, nobody can replace the real Michael Bolton. Nobody. His self-titled album from 1983, Everybody's Crazy from 1985 and The Hunger from 1987 are all classics, and nothing can truly touch the real thing. Those records will always stand miles above anything like this. But with today’s technology it’s honestly a little crazy what is now possible. As longtime AOR fans we simply wanted to try something: What if that powerful early AOR voice appeared again in a brand new song? This project is simply our way of celebrating that era and paying tribute to a voice many of us grew up loving. We also realize that projects like this raise interesting questions. AI technology can now recreate vocal styles from the past, and we’re genuinely curious what other music fans think. Is this a fun tribute to a legendary era of AOR – or should experiments like this not be done? Let us know what you think. If people enjoy the idea, we might create more AI tribute experiments celebrating classic AOR sounds and voices from the 1980s. Again, just to be clear: This is a fan tribute inspired by the early AOR era of Michael Bolton. It is NOT Michael Bolton. And yes — you can hear that in the songwriting, the lyrics, and the soul of the real voice. #AOR #MelodicRock #80sRock #AORmusic #ClassicAOR #MelodicRockMusic #AItribute #AORfans #80sAOR #MelodicRockRevival
