Driving on a Motorway and Dual Carriageway may seem an easy task but there many considerations you need to be aware of. Firstly these sections of the public highway are not a race track. With a speed limit of 70 mph maximum, it's easy to let your concentration laps and this can lead to dire consequences. Watch out for vhicles changing lanes, vehicles filtering on and off the carriageway and probably the worst offenders, those who do not follow the Highway Code 264 rule: When driving along a three-lane motorway, rule 264 of the Highway Code states: “You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slow-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past.” This video will also help you with Hazard Perception. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My other YouTube Channels Tudor Smith: / tudorsmith Tudor Smith Photography: / tudorsmithphotography Tudor Travels: / @tudor_travels #drivewithcare #driving #motorwaydriving driving, road trip, driving test, driving tips, driving lessons, hazard perception, rules of the road, how to drive, driving uk roads, drive with care, courtesy driver, indicators, turn signals, how to use your indicators, driving video, driving videos, tudor smith, best driving, best driving tips, drive on the left, Hazard Perception Test, Hazard Perception, motorway driving, driving on a motorway, driving on a dual carriage way, what is the national speed limit, Driving
