Ahhh...Penumbra :3 Remastered my all time favorite song. Penumbra was the first ambient i composed and remains my most emotional ambient of all. I composed this one for the first time on my balcony, if you know me well you probably know this story. I grew up with dyslexia and 5 learning disabilities, made everything harder at school, i was failing everything and had to double and triple my work for not even 1/10th of the results. One day i came back from another day, severely depressed. Truth was back then i had no passion, i was shy and whenever someone tried to cheer me up they always would say " Aaron you know just be yourself ?". How could i been "myself" if i didn't know "Who i was", JUST YET. That was until that day my friend installed me FL studio DEMO a day before and i tried to give it a go. Grabbed my laptop and just let my emotions flow like water. Had no particularly skill at all, i just took my laptop and composed it by using my actual laptop keyboard as a midi piano keyboard, i did it without stopping it was a one shot take for a whole 5 minute. AND SO there i was composing with tears in my eyes on a chilly summer night, under the moonlight with water streaming down from my face, was probably one of the best moments in my life because it was truly the first time i connected with music, but also with my own self. I connected with my own self that IS what happened that day. Emotion and pain had completely transferred into this song. This song speaks for itself. Pain, melancholia and depression with that tint of beauty and happiness hidden within the shadows of it. Enjoy this piece of remastered ambient, i do hope you enjoy this track. :)
