I clicked on something, and 19 seconds in I knew it was amazing. I paused, checked the comments, and saw LouieVerse @LouieVerseCinematics praising it. That was when I knew I must do a reaction. Even though I had gotten very behind on my big list of things that I intend to react to, I knew I needed to make time for this one. The "Into the Hills" video by @MusicSatire is at this link: • Into the Hills - MusicSatire (Official AMV) The song is really good, haunting and hopeful at the same time. The animation is spectacular, especially in certain parts such as most of the nature scenes, but it does contain AI errors and roughness in some parts, especially when pausing (AI errors that I can only see if I pause barely count as errors at all, though). The storyline seems to make sense and I think the characters are all original characters created by MusicSatire. If there were cameos, I missed them. The story, as I interpret it, is about a country that is probably Japan descending into war. As the city is being destroyed, people must flee into the countryside, into the hills as the title says. The war scenario could be referring to the possible upcoming World War III or to the way that China has been making alarming statements towards Japan, or it could be both, or maybe this is a generic anime country and not actually supposed to be Japan. However, there also seem to be possibly people with superpowers and/or supernatural events involved? It looks very anime-esque and if there is a planned anime based on this that someday appears, I think it could be good. I think, however, that this is just a test for now, and maybe more projects with these exact characters will never appear?
