How #variable_frequency_drive controls speed of #3_phase_induction_motor. #VFD_motor_control for AC induction motors, have been the innovation that has brought the use of AC motors back into prominence, with ease of motor speed controlling. By using the #VFD, induction motor can get its speed controlled, by changing the #frequency of the supply voltage. At first, #Variable_speed_drive converts fixed AC voltage into DC voltage through a bridge rectifier. Then, DC voltage is filtered and smoothened through capacitors and inductors in the #DC_bus, before transforming it back in to the AC voltage through the inverter. Resultant AC voltage frequency is not fixed, and is maneuverable to get required magnitude for motor speed controlling.
