Woodturning: Mother of All Scrap Bowls

Today's project is the mother of all scrap bowls! I've been hoarding......I mean saving all of the scraps from cutting boards and bowls. I finally have enough to make a bowl. I didn't want to glue the pieces together with wood glue. I wasn't sure how it would work out, but I was hoping that the resin would get into the seams, cracks, and crannies. It was either going to be a complete disaster or an amazing bowl! Thankfully it was the latter. The scraps consisted of walnut, Purple Heart, cherry, padauk, mesquite, maple, and birds eye maple. I love the way the bowl ended up. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did.
