Even as Maharashtra sees a sudden surge in new coronavirus cases, the Mumbai civic body has clarified that a fresh lockdown is not on the cards for the city. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, however, said stringent implementation of rules and Covid-19 guidelines will be ensured in Mumbai to prevent the spread of the virus.
