Exploring Thailand on a motorbike || BANGKOK & PHUKET

[useful information regarding visiting Thailand below] We are in Thailand!! In this week's vlog we are in the amazing city of Bangkok and island of Phuket. Neither of us have been in Asia yet so we were both super excited. We first spent three nights in Bangkok where we tried some street food, climbed the tallest building in Thailand - MahaNakhon and visited the beautiful temple of Wat Pho. Then we flew from Bangkok to Phuket, an island on the south of Thailand. We stayed near the beautiful beach of Nai Thon for four nights. We relaxed, we swam and explored the local area via motorbike. This included the nearby "Banana Beach" and the main city of Phuket. USEFUL INFORMATION: we didn't need any visa or vaccines to visit Thailand the most expensive thing were the flights as we had to fly from Islay to Glasgow, Glasgow to London and London to Bangkok; we used Airbnb for our stay in Bangkok, it was part of a hotel so we had access to the rooftop bar and swimming pool we mostly used metro and air train in Bangkok; really cheap and super convenient way to get around the city; most fair cost between 50p to £1 we also recommend taking metro from the airport and back - it cost 80 Thai Baht one way per person - £2 in Bangkok it is still recommended to wear face masks in public spaces *Bike hire driving a motorbike in Thailand is something to do at your own risk as you can't get insurance on an international driving license it is recommended not to pass on your passport as a deposit, it is a common scam in Phuket we hired a bike from Baan Phutawan, they only required our room number from the hotel we stayed; highly recommend the place and we had no problems at all in Thailand you drive on the left side so it is convenient if you are used to driving in GB *Phuket City it was an hour drive by bike to get to Phuket City from we were staying and we wish we stayed there for a night or two we visited the nearby Monkey Hill View Point; the entry was free, the monkey were super cute but we wouldn't say that the view was spectacular you should bring as little things as possible for the hike as the monkey will try to take things from you; some people were walking with sticks Thank you for watching this video and see you soon with the next one!
