It has been an intense journey of finding out that I have an ovarian cyst(s). My ovarian cyst measures 8cm and it has taken 6 doctors and six long months to finally get help. I am uploading this video on August 6, 2023 and my surgery to remove my ovarian cyst and other parts of my female reproductive organs + endometrial biopsy is tomorrow...August 7, 2023. Please, wish me luck! To be quite honest, I was hesitant in sharing my story as I am quite a private person. But, after going through so many endless doctor visits, variety of tests, phone calls, and waiting periods -- all leaving me feeling so alone and helpless - I knew it was important to share my journey even if it touched just one woman out there going through something similar.
