We are Easy Day Adventures, a family of four taking one adventure at a time. In this video series we are pointing North to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to go swimming up in the Arctic Ocean. Why? Because its there. Plus, it will make a great adventure for our growing boys who are learning how to dream BIG. Why not come along for the ride? Sometimes we live on our sailboat, other time we explore Terra Firma with our OVRLND rig. Either way, its always an adventure! In this video we depart Colorado on our 4,000 mile journey to the Arctic Ocean. We travel 10 hours North into Wyoming and Montana. Our first stop is at a campground called the Beartooth Lake Campground. We then went searching for a more remote campsite suitable for our OVRLND camper. We found the perfect spot at Lulu Pass, just North of Cooke City, Montana. We had planned to camp just outside of Red Lodge, Montana but the bugs were too intense. The boys had an allergic reaction to mosquito bites on their ears so we went searching for a hotel that night to let the Benadryl kick in. Since we are a retired military family, we can stay at military base hotels for very reasonable rates. In this case, we opted for Malmstrom Air Force Base because it was on our way to the Canadian border. We hope you enjoy. 00:00 – Intro 00:32 – Starting Out 01:16 – Chief Joseph Scenic Byway 01:45 – Beartooth Lake Campground 02:04 – Cinnamon Bears 03:04 – Lulu Pass 05:03 – Mosquito Bites 05:32 – Sunset from Lulu Pass 07:00 – Beartooth Highway 09:18 – Malmstrom AFB Detour
