Welcome to a Game Showcase about a newer modhack for the Sega Genesis game Shining in the Darkness named Darkness Edition. Here we will show the first hour, and it will roll into a whole playthrough in the days to come. It is worth noting that I will be breaking down the differences and abilities I note in the monsters we face, as well as any data I find interesting about items and weapons as we go, so if you just want get in a go this may not be what you want. That being said, this modhack is free to play on your own, so feel free to experience it at your leisure from the Shining forums. It is also worth noting that the version I did this in has since been updated and I was asked by the mod developer to try the new version so I shall be re-playing through the new content, but I WILL be uploading my streams so that people can get my first impressions of the first three Trials.. The replay should be faster and without nearly as much analysis on what those enemies do, so if you want to see the content and not my impressions that may be better for you, but it will release after the current streams.
