#RacingPigeon #palomamensajera #赛鸽 The Vandenheede brothers are obviously the most prominent name in the 2013 Championship of National Ace Pigeons 20132, winning a 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance Old Birds KBDB, a 1st + 3rd Nat Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance Yearlings KBDB, a 5th Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB and a 7th Nat. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance Old Birds KBDB. Well done! It is fair to say that the fanciers from Zingem were a worthy General Champion of Belgium 2012 and they have defended their title in style. This impressive collection of titles and Ace Pigeons is truly impressive and it shows the quality of the modern-day Vandenheede pigeon breed! We think almost everything has been said about Freddy and Jacques Vandenheede in the past few seasons. Their racing method, the maintenance of their loft etc. have been extensively discussed and the loft of Vandenheede was always in the news. The late father Rene Vandenheede set things in motion many years ago. Jacques (68) and Freddy (53) learned everything about pigeon racing at an early age and their father Rene was the best teacher they could have. De Zieken and Antigoon x Krijt are just a few of the stock dams that have made history and they continue to influence the sport to this day. When the two decided to run a loft on their own they had the honour to work with an impressive collection of breeding pigeons from their father Rene. This allowed them to gain a significant advantage over their opponents. It was a gap the others could not close. In fact they have further widened the gap, especially after their decision in 2007 to form a team from 2008. It is often said that one plus one equals more than two but in the case of Freddy and Jacques we would say that 1 +1 = 3. Five years after the start of this collaboration they have achieved an impressive number of important victories at provincial and national level, as well as an endless series of top results every weekend. Nobody seems to be able to stop them. This is pigeon racing from another planet; these fanciers have been winning prizes week in week out! Source: pipa.be
