The 7V definitely qualifies as an "endgame" worthy 75% keyboard. Designed by Gok, the 7V definitely delivers on its promises! This board uses a leaf-spring PCB mounting design, with gaskets on the top case that serve more as a shim, preventing movement of the PCB and plate assembly, rather than as a true gasket. This allows for soft, potentially bouncy typing experience, depending on the plate material used. During group buy, the board could be purchased with either a polycarbonate plate or aluminium plate as part of the kit. Additional plates, including a polycarbonate flex plate could be purchased as extras. You could also choose to go plateless if preferred. The weight and badge are an eye catching, mirror polished stainless steel. PVD weights and badges could also be purchased, as this client chose to with their 7V. I was honoured to get the chance to build this for my client. I was also lucky enough to snag an extra unit through Daily Clack, on the same day I built this beauty on stream! I will upload a typing video of my own build shortly. This 7V was built using the aluminium plate, and I really enjoyed this combination with Cherry MX Retooled Black switches.
