After massive outrage over the way Delhi Police handled the Delhi gangrape case, the Police has finally admitted to the lapses. The police on Thursday (Jan 10) apologised to the High court after the court pulled them up for not naming cops patrolling the area in which a girl was gangraped in a moving bus and taking action only against the junior level officers. Delhi gangrape victim's friend, who was also beaten up by the rapists, had revealed that while the rape victim was battling for her life, the Delhi Police wasted crucial time in arguing about jurisdiction and only after a delay of 30 minutes they took a bleeding girl to the hospital.
