In this video, I'll take you through my first two days filled with excitement, challenges, and breathtaking views. Day 1: The adventure begins with a wait for my friends Barb and Bob to arrive. Once we reunite, we pick up our pilgrim credentials and passports, marking the start of our pilgrimage. Our trek leads us through the magnificent Pyrenees Mountains to the Orisson Refuge (Albergue), where we enjoy a delicious pilgrims meal before settling in for the night. Day 2: We awaken to unexpected weather—cloudy, windy, and foggy. As we climb higher, we encounter four inches of fresh snow! Despite the chilly conditions, we make our way to Roncevalles, where we'll spend our second night.
