In this video, I’m creating an abstract concentric circle painting using Masha’s beautiful handmade watercolors in calming shades of blue and green. I walk you through my process of building layered rings of color, adding simple but expressive mark-making with a Blackwing pencil, and finishing it all off with shimmering touches of Kuretake gold ink. This project is a fun mix of watercolor, drawing, and a bit of metallic magic.
