Roughly chop the nuts. Add pounded cardamom to the fig’s mixture. Blend the fig and dates mixture to pulp. Heat ghee in a kadai, add chopped nuts in that kadai and fry it till golden brown Reserve a portion for later use. Add desiccated coconut in dry fruit mixture. Add puree of fig and dates to the pan and cook till the moisture evaporates. Add date syrup to the dish. Cook till it leaves the pan. Add poppy seeds to the date mixture. Grease a flat thali and pour the mixture. Add poppy seeds and toasted nuts. Allow it to cool. Sprinkle rose petal and cut into dices. Serve with your loved ones. Coconut Barfi !! Ingredient 1 cup full cream milk 1 cup khoya 3-4 tsp sugar 1 tsp cardamom powder 1 cup desiccated coconut 1 silver vark Method First place pan and boil milk and reduces it till 50%. Now add khoya and cook for some more time till it gets khoya melted completely. Add sugar and continuedly stir and after it get thicker remove it aside and make two different batch of mixer. Sprinkle desiccated coconut and mix with one batch of mixer and in another mixer add pink color and desiccated coconut and mix it. Now make layer of first batch and place another layer on top of first batch keep it aside to get set. After it get set then cut in to pieces and serve it. Moong Dal Barfi Ingredients: 1 cup Moong Daal – Grinded into fine powder 1 cup Ghee / Clarified Butter 1 cup Sugar 1 tspn Cardamom Powder 1 cup Khoya ½ cup Pistachios – blanched Silver varq to garnish Method: Take a pan, put ghee and then add moong daal flour into it, Stir fry both the ingredients together till its golden brown in colour. Once it reaches its desired texture, turn off the flame. Stir continuously at this stage and allow it to cool for a while. Then add sugar and cardamom powder. Once the sugar melts in the mixture add khoya and mix everything well together. After few minutes you will notice the khoya melts in the mixture and the whole preparation is ready. Now take a rectangular tray, grease it with ghee and put the moong daal mixture into it. Press and set it so that it takes the shape of the tray. Put pistachios on top of it and Silver varq to garnish. Now refrigerate it till it’s completely set and done. After few hours take out the tray from refrigerator, cut it into square pieces and then serve. Enjoy!
