Joining us this week in the Bassment we have Joe Flanagan, also known as ‘NLB,’ hails from Dublin, Ireland. Starting from humble beginnings, he began mixing tunes with friends at house parties during surf trips across Ireland. His DJ career officially took off in 2017, and over the years, he honed his craft blending funky house bangers and disco classics in clubs across Dublin. Notable residencies included Berlin D-2, Izakaya, and with the renowned Irish collective, Toast. He went on from here to perform at some of Ireland’s most iconic music festivals, such as Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Fuinneamh and Life Festival, before relocating to Canada in 2019. In Canada, Joe immersed himself in the underground scene, organizing raves in Whistler, BC, and earning recognition for his hard-hitting acid house and techno sets. In recent years, he has returned to his funky roots, merging his love for acid house with funky house styles. Known for his infectious energy, he creates unforgettable moments for any crowd.
