[Verse 1] They brought him to the temple, to the men in linen robes The man who’d lived in shadows, now walking down the road It was the day of resting when the clay touched his eyes But the healers of the law saw a sinner in disguise They asked him for the method, they asked him for the way He said, "He put the mud on me, I washed it all away." Now there’s a division, a shaking in the hall Is He from the Father, or does He break the Law?
