LINKS: Jump-ring opener https://amzn.to/33K7teA If you wondered what a rock-hound's paradise looked like, then look no further - this is it! Come with us to one of the most incredible landscapes in Scotland! 370 Million years ago, a river the size of the Mississippi ran through here, carrying an unimaginable number of rocks, pebbles, stones, fossils and geological artifacts with it... the cliffs here are an amalgam of material carried here during that period, known as the Late Devonian Extinction! We've traveled North to visit this incredible place - we've wanted to visit for a long time, but today, we are sharing our first sights and impressions of this ancient landscape! First impressions - WOW! If you love rocks, then this is your idea of paradise! It is incredible - the cliffs are made from pebbles, as they erode over many hundreds of year, the beach - a sea of pebbles - was formed! It is just awe inspiring. There is sure to be many beach treasures here... the village above the pebble cliffs has stood here for centuries, though (our brief look through) historical records begin at the point where the place gained some recognition for a fish smoking technique that has become associated with this area of Scotland... We'll say more about that another day... For now, we're taking our first look at the place and collecting gems the create beautiful bespoke jewellery for our ETSY shop! We hope you enjoyed today's video... Thank you so much!
