Djembe and talking drum Come and experience the mystery of West Africa and its music.This drumming camp propels you directly into the heart of West Africas music hub, the capital of Mali, Bamako. You will have drumming tuition with Ladji 2 x 2 hours every weekday. Additionally, Ladji will take you along with a local drumming band to see authentic Djembe perfomances for events like traditional weddings, namegiving, birthdays etc. One weekend you will visit the village of Kela, so you can experience West African drumming and traditional Griot music in the context of a small village. You will stay with Ladji in a comfortable 6 bedroom house (including showers and toilets, not always standard in Mali :-)). 3 mouthwatering meals will be provided by an onsite Malian chef to ensure that you enjoy a wholistic experience of Malian culture.
