With the tournament finished, the villains flee to Diamond Tower, located in Diamond City north of Peace Town and our final area of the game. This stage is filled with a good chunk of enemies that take more than 1 to 2 hits to kill and as you progress further you’ll get to the higher floors of the tower eventually reaching the top floor where the final confrontation against Carat Diamond and Dr. Mook awaits. This final boss has 2 phases Phase one has the two villains piloting a giant mechanical spider. It can send out eight bombs out of its back that fly out, bouncing off and landing on random positions on the map. Once all eight bombs have been released, a visor shuts over the spider’s eye. When the bombs explode, the boss opens its eye again, and then may or may not decide to move. It can walk in a straight horizontal or vertical line, passing over any obstacle in the process, where it stops is also random. The spider is only vulnerable when its eye is open and can only be damaged by the upper part of a bomb blast, it cannot be hit from the side or the back so you’ll have to place bombs in front of it. It takes about 7 hits to defeat, after that the spider is destroyed and the second phase of the boss is revealed. The two villains emerge from the wreckage of the mechanical spider now plotting the Uiteru V. The flying shuttle moves in a circular, clockwise pattern passing over all obstacles and pursuing the player. It periodically sends out Skull items which bounce over obstacles and land on random spaces. The ship will hit you on collision and can detonate bombs if its shadow from the bottom passes over one. This phase cannot be damaged by your bomb blasts and as a result it may cause players to be stuck here for a while since it’s never actually implied as to what you are suppose to be doing. This boss can ONLY be damaged by knocking bombs into its body via the boxing glove item. Fortunately, If you don’t have the item prior to reaching the second phase or lose it at any point in the fight by dying, a boxing glove (or any random item) will appear in a random spot on the map for every two notches on the timer that get depleted. This phase takes 5 hits to defeat, once the Uiteru V is defeated its destruction causes the entirety of Diamond Tower to collapse.
